I am mighty, mighty humbled and very grateful to have been asked to record the folk song ‘Sweet Nightingale’ for this wonderful brand new project ‘Songs of England’. The charity, English Heritage, and folk singer/song collector Sam Lee & The Nest Collective team have created “a digital collection of 12 traditional folk songs and videos paired to historic sites in the care of the charity from Dover Castle to Hadrian’s Wall.” Featuring some stunning performances as well as beautiful footage I feel very proud to be a part of it. My song has been paired to Tintagel Castle. Woohoo!
